Sodhi - Puzhi sodhi
This has a tangy taste and goes well with rice and curry dishes.
Coconut milk 3 cups
Onion 1 medium
Dry chillies 4
Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
Tamarind paste 1 teaspoon
In a pot dry roast the fenugreek seeds until it becomes yellow.
Add 2 teaspoon oil and fry diced onions, chopped dry chillies until onions soften.
Add 1 cup water and boil, when boiled, add tamarind paste and simmer.
Now add coconut milk, and salt and cook in low heat.
Let it boil well until raw flavour of coconut milk is gone.
Remove from fire.
