Tomato curry

           

            Tomato curry Garnished 


Ingredients:

Tomatoes 200 Gms
Onion 1 medium
Curry leaves 10
Green chillies 3
Curry powder 2 teaspoon
Coconut milk 2 cups
Oil 2 tablespoon

Method:

Wash and cut each tomato into four.

In a cooking pot in hot oil sauté the diced onions until soft,

Add curry leaves, tomato pieces, green chillies cut lengthwise, curry powder, coconut milk and salt and cook in low heat stirring occasionally.

Simmer until gravy thickens.

Garnish if you wish and remove from fire.

If you use cow milk this tends to curdle with tomatoes.

You can garnish this dish at the end.

 

 

 

Tomato sambal - salad 

Ingredients:

Tomato 200 Gms
Onion 1 medium
Green chillies 3
Salt
Milk ½ cup

Method:

Wash and slice tomatoes into thin slices.

Slice onion into thin slices; chop green chillies into small pieces.

In a big dish place all these and add salt and mix with a spoon taking care not to break up the tomato pieces.

You can add some milk to this to taste better.

Keep in fridge until used.
